As with all successful market leading products, copy cats are sure to follow. One can describe copy cat products as a photo of the real thing. While some "photo's" are better than others, they are never the same as the original.

The unfortunate part of being a unique and valuable product is all the fake and imitation products and services which follows. This obviously negatively affects our product and brand. We see that established paint companies try and manufacture a copy cat product as if it is normal paint. Not fully understanding or realising how it works. We have even had people use our brand and/marketing as their own.

There is only one manufacturer of Thermoshield in South Africa. That is Wallchem Manufacturing cc trading as Megabond. We have bought the rights from the previous brand custodians in 2003. Thermoshield is the name of the product which falls in our premium Megabond range. We are not a paint contractor service or consultant. We do have approved applicators with the right experience and training to apply the product correctly. The product can however be bought in any good paint shop or hardware store and be applied by the property owner or a contracted painter. That being said, using a Megabond approved applicator not only assures the product is applied correctly, but also gives you further peach of mind with an extended product guarantee.

We have also seen how contractors say they are using our product, using our name and marketing material, but when the job starts, they use an inferior clone.

To ensure you get what you pay for, we have the follow steps in place:

• Projects done by our Approved Applicators must be registered with us. Registration covers multiple stages of the project to ensure the right product, quantities and processes are followed. Failure to do so would void the extended guarantee and could result in the applicator losing his accreditation. You as the customer can demand from the applicator to see the Registration Confirmation form which will be issue from us.
• Second verification is to submit the product batch number located on either the bottom or side of the container/drum.

Having done all this successfully, you can have the peace of mind that you are getting what you where promised and paid for. Now to enjoy your investment.
